WE ♥ REAL BEER & PIZZA.
Posted in Libations, Side orders on 02. Dec, 2010
There it is people. Beer & pizza. Genius.
Real beer from &UNION, Jack Black, Birkenhead and Camelthorn. Wood-fired oven pizza from Knead. Music by the Swingsetters. All going down at the new Knead bakery in Palmyra Junction, which is a shithot space both inside and outdoors.
For anyone that didn’t get a chance to hit up the We ♥ Real Beer craft beer festival, this is the next best thing. And for everyone that did, this is the next best thing.
I’ll see you all there.

9th December – 6pm - Knead Bakery, Palmyra Junction, 9 Palmyra Road, Claremont, Cape Town.

Who is the Foodie? It doesn’t really matter. Bacon is god. Wine cures anything. If you believe those two facts, then we’re going to get on fine. This means you have discovered the power of food to make life better. This knowledge is imperative to the art of living well.

Does the R20 buy you any of that beer and pizza?
so its R20 to get in? why? to see the swingsetters? this makes no sense. surely we could get all that real beer and pizza at the same price, any other time, without paying just to walk in? random.
R20 gets guests a We Love Real Beer pint glass. It gets entrance to what’s going to be a great event with live music (not sponsored by a brand). It’s R20. Would you fork out R200 for a concert ticket? People do all the time. So R20 for a live music performance, beer glass and a fun night with four breweries pouring beer is pretty decent in my humble opinion.
R20 is what u pay for a couple hrs of parking in town.
Twenty bucks is not a great deal of anything now days, I bet normally u don’t blink to spend R20. But now to support a band and a nice event u complain? Whatever.
Pay the muso’s, support the non corporate beer guys and enjoy life.
You’ll see me there
